Job summary

You will promote products, assist customers, handle inquiries, and help prepare displays and produce trays as needed, contributing to a welcoming atmosphere and positive shopping experience for every guest.

Qualifications

• Current food handlers permit once employed.

Responsibilities

• Promote Corporate Brands to customers
• Promote trust and respect among associates
• Create an environment that enables customers to feel welcome, important and appreciated by answering questions regarding products
• Gain and maintain knowledge of products sold and respond to questions with suggestions
• Assist with the preparation produce platters/trays
• Inform customers of produce specials
• Recommend items to customers to meet their needs
• Adequately prepare, package, label and inventory merchandise
• Inspect products for quality and freshness and take action as needed
• Label, stock and inventory department merchandise
• Report ordering/shipping discrepancies to the department manager
• Display a positive attitude
• Stay current with ads and promotions
• Ensure proper temperatures in cases and coolers and maintain logs
• Follow safety procedures and report unsafe conditions
• Notify management of accidents and safety risks
• Report all unsafe or illegal activities to store management
• Work cooperatively in a fast-paced environment
• Handle conflicts in a professional manner
• Follow directions and seek help to resolve issues
• Provide support to minors, individuals with special needs, and/or older adults
• Perform essential functions with or without accommodation
