Job summary

The Kroger Stevens Point, WI store is seeking a store operations supervisor to deliver outstanding customer service, supervise department duties, and support daily grocery operations while upholding food safety and company values.

You will lead scheduling, coaching associates, manage inventory and promotions in partnership with store management, while ensuring budgets and safety protocols are followed.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of basic math (counting, addition, subtraction).
• Ability to handle stressful situations in a retail environment.
• Grocery experience preferred or required.
• Strong customer service orientation and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Promote trust and respect among associates.
• Communicate department information to associates.
• Collaborate with associates and promote teamwork to reach store goals.
• Establish department performance goals and empower associates.
• Develop scheduling to manage customer volume.
• Train associates and participate in performance appraisals.

• Plan and execute department promotions with store management.
• Monitor inventory and update signage and shelf tags.
• Plan, organize and supervise inventory and stock processes.
• Support budgeting, P&L reviews and financial reporting.
• Ensure proper temperatures and food safety compliance.
• Identify and report safety risks or incidents.
