Responsibilities

• Create an outstanding customer experience through exceptional service.
• Assist the department manager in reaching sales and profit goals established for the department.
• Monitor all established quality assurance standards and maintain a safe, clean environment.
• Answer customer questions and respond with product knowledge to recommend items.
• Label, stock and inventory department merchandise; ensure freshness and proper dates.
• Report product ordering/shipping discrepancies to the department manager.
• Adhere to food safety regulations and maintain temperature logs.
• Reinforce safety programs and notify management of safety risks or incidents.
