Job summary

RJW Logistics Group is hiring for a Gate Clerk to manage vehicle, personnel, and shipment entry across trailer yard sites. You’ll verify driver appointments, maintain records, and coordinate with security and operations to ensure smooth, secure operations with strong customer service.

The role requires flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays. Ideal candidates have 1–2 years administrative experience and familiarity with Sysnapse, McLeod, and Microsoft Office, plus basic logistics

Qualifications

• Maintain accurate records and attention to detail.
• Familiarity with CCTV cameras and other access control technologies.
• Non-traditional schedules including evenings, weekends, and holidays demand flexibility and adaptability.
• 1–2 years of administrative experience; proficiency in Sysnapse, McLeod software, and Microsoft Office.
• Basic understanding of transportation and logistics systems and processes.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate records of trailer arrivals and departures.
• Verify driver appointments and confirmation numbers.
• Coordinate with security, operations, logistics, and management.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure secure warehouse operations and effective communication.
• Provide excellent customer service with high professionalism.
• Monitor and report incidents or suspicious activity to management.
• Demonstrate strong attention to detail and situational awareness.
• Adapt to changing circumstances, traffic patterns, and equipment issues; resolve conflicts when needed.
• Clearly understand RJW's goals, policies, and procedures.
• Handle multiple tasks and maintain confidentiality.
