Covenant Logistics is seeking a Gate Clerk in Newport, TN to handle inbound and outbound loads and maintain yard security. The role may require rotating shifts to ensure smooth freight flow and accurate record-keeping across facilities.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma (or equivalent) and 2+ years in an administrative/customer service role, with familiarity in HighJump WMS preferred. Competitive benefits and full-time hours are offered.

Responsibilities

• Process Inbound and Outbound loads.
• Check in and maintain security with outside carriers.
• Perform yard audits as needed.
• Keep accurate records of inbound/outbound trailers.
• Check seals and numbers on inbound/outbound trailers.
• Security-adjacent tasks such as gate management and perimeter reporting.
• Prioritize and process Inbound/Outbound paperwork and BOLs.
• Assist in maintaining consistent freight flow for timely processing.
