Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer for a front desk position at a Jacksonville, FL retail location. You will greet visitors, control access, issue badges, and maintain visitor logs while providing quality customer service and a secure environment.

Responsibilities include monitoring entry, reporting incidents, and following site procedures. Must have at least 1 year of security experience and be 18+; background checks and drug screening apply where required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of security-related experience.
• Supervisory experience preferred.
• Access control/badge experience is preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check and drug screen as required by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, associates, vendors, and delivery personnel at a retail location by following security procedures and site policies.
• Operate the front desk by greeting visitors, issuing badges, and maintaining visitor logs.
• Monitor entry activity, communicate with store personnel, and report suspicious activity or incidents.
• Respond to incidents calmly and follow site procedures, contacting emergency services when needed.
• Maintain records of visitor activity and front-desk communications as required.
