This part-time role offers a flexible schedule with night shifts. A guard card/licence is preferred, and a background check and drug screen are required. Competitive pay of $14.90 per hour plus growth opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by law.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, drivers, and vendors at a front desk within a logistics and distribution location by carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related protocols.
• Greet visitors, verify identification and access authorization, issue visitor credentials as applicable, and maintain accurate entry and departure records.
• Monitor access points, receive deliveries and communications, and direct authorized individuals to appropriate areas while maintaining a professional presence.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures.
• Document observations, incidents, and security-related activities, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal management.
