Job summary

Grand Hyatt DFW is seeking an Overnight Front Office Agent to deliver exceptional guest service during overnight hours and to support nightly audit processes. You will be the face of the hotel, handling check-ins/outs, inquiries, and special requests while maintaining security and calm throughout the property.

You will balance daily transactions, post charges, and prepare summary reports for leadership, ensuring accurate records and a seamless handover to the day team.

Qualifications

• Previous hotel front office or night audit experience preferred; Hyatt experience is a plus.
• Strong computer skills; experience in Opera PMS and HotSOS.
• Basic knowledge of accounting and reconciliation principles.
• Exceptional attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and make sound decisions during overnight hours.
• Excellent communication and guest service skills, with a calm, professional demeanor under pressure.
• Flexible availability to work overnight shifts (10 PM-6:30 PM or 11 PM-7:30 AM), weekends and holidays.
• Ability to stand for long periods.
• Ability to lift, push or carry up to a moderate weight.
• Must have a valid license to operate a motor vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests and assist with check-in/check-out in a warm, efficient manner.
• Handle inquiries, requests, and concerns; resolve issues before handover.
• Manage overnight room assignments and VIP amenities.
• Monitor lobby, maintain safety, and support overnight operations.
• Coordinate wake-up calls, transportation, luggage, and late-night requests.
• Balance and reconcile daily hotel transactions; post charges and payments.
• Run nightly reports and prepare daily summaries for leadership.
• Identify discrepancies and report to Night Manager or Accounting.
