Job summary

Generation Hospitality Group is seeking a Night Audit to oversee overnight front desk operations, ensure accuracy of daily financial transactions, and close the day’s accounts. You will also serve as the primary guest-facing representative during night hours, handling late check-ins, guest requests and emergencies with a high standard of service.

Qualifications

• Experience at a hotel front desk or night audit preferred.
• Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial transactions.
• Proficiency with PMS, POS systems, and standard office software.

Responsibilities

• Perform nightly audit of front desk transactions and postings.
• Reconcile and balance daily revenue from all outlets and incidents.
• Close the business day in the PMS and generate daily reports for management.
• Verify room rates, discounts, and packages, resolving discrepancies.
• Process and review cash, credit, and direct-bill transactions with proper documentation.
• Prepare daily revenue and occupancy reports and night audit summaries.
• Handle guest check-ins/check-outs during overnight hours and process payments.
• Respond to guest inquiries and emergencies with high service standards.
• Monitor property security overnight and follow emergency procedures.
