Job summary

Gordon Food Service in Kenosha, WI is seeking a Freight Handler to support warehouse operations. You will remove pallets from trailers, break down products for correct pallet configuration, and ensure inbound freight is properly palletized for storage.

No prior warehouse experience is required as training is provided; must be able to work Sundays through Thursdays, with Sundays off, and tolerate cold/hot environments. This is a full-time, on-site role with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must be able to read, write and communicate in English.

Responsibilities

• Safely remove pallets of product from trailers and break down for correct pallet configuration.
• Separate inbound freight by item code onto good pallets.
• Ensure damaged product is accounted for and not received into warehouse inventory.
• Account for the structural integrity of pallets.
