Job summary

Gordon Food Service is hiring a Freight Handler for the Kenosha distribution center. The role involves moving pallets from trailers, breaking down products, and preparing correct pallets. Training is provided; 18+ and English literacy required.

Weekend/overtime availability and a dynamic warehouse environment are expected. Pay starts at $19.52/hour plus a $1 shift premium, with weekly pay and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Must be able to work holidays, weekends, and overtime.
• No experience required; training provided.
• Must be able to read, write and communicate in English.

Responsibilities

• Safely remove pallets from trailers and break down products for correct pallet configuration.
• Separate inbound freight by item code onto good pallets; ensure damaged product is not received into inventory.
• Account for the structural integrity of pallets and assist with organizing warehouse space.
