Job summary

Phase2 Technology is looking for a 1st Shift Freight Handler for its distribution center in Springfield, Ohio. This part-time role requires candidates to safely manage pallets of products and maintain warehouse organization. The ideal candidate should be at least 18 years old and able to work in various temperature conditions. Pay: Starting at $18.60

Work Schedule

• Sunday: 5am to 1pm
• Wednesday, Thursday, Friday: 6am to 2pm (shifts vary based on work volume)

Gordon Food Service takes pride in delivering seamless order processing and delivery to our customers, and our warehouse staff is the backbone of our success. As a freight handler, you'll support our team by safely removing pallets of product from the trailer and breaking down the product for the correct pallet configuration. You will also separate inbound freight by item code onto good pallets, ensure that damaged product is properly accounted for and not received into the warehouse for sale inventory, and account for the structural integrity of pallets. There's no experience required – we'll train you how to get the job done!

Qualifications and Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must be able to work holidays, weekends, and overtime as needed.
• Must be able to work in extreme cold or hot conditions (-25°F to 100°F).
• Must be able to read, write, and communicate in English.
• Must successfully pass a drug test and background check.
• Prior warehouse experience preferred, but not required.
