Job summary

Gordon Food Service in Kenosha is seeking a Freight Handler to support our distribution center operations. You will remove pallets from trailers, break down shipments, and prepare pallets for storage. Training is provided, and no prior warehouse experience is required.

The role runs Sunday through Thursday, 10:00 PM to around 6:00 AM, with overtime as needed. Applicants must be 18+, able to work holidays and weekends, and withstand extreme temperatures (-25F to 100F).

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write and communicate in English.
• Prior warehouse experience preferred, but not required.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Safely remove pallets from trailers and break down product for correct pallet configuration.
• Separate inbound freight by item code onto good pallets and account for damaged product.
• Ensure structural integrity of pallets and maintain warehouse organization.
