Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Prior experience in warehousing, freight handling and/or forklift operations preferred.
• Ability to lift/carry hand freight and open trailer doors requiring significant lift force.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift and other equipment to move freight in dock area.
• Verify documentation matches freight description (type, weight, hazardous materials).
• Secure freight inside trailers using pallets, straps, and rope.
• Recoup/repair damaged freight as needed.
• Verify and complete required documentation and reports.
• Assist customers with freight and freight documentation.
• Perform hostling duties if required.
• Comply with all laws, regulations, and company policies.
• Perform other duties as required.
