Qualifications

• Experience in warehousing and freight handling preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Ability to lift/carry hand freight of varying weights several times a week and to operate dock equipment.

Responsibilities

• Transport freight across dock area to/from trailers.
• Perform freight handling using motorized and manual equipment (forklift, pallet jack, hand truck).
• Verify documentation matches freight description (type, weight, hazardous materials).
• Secure freight inside trailers using pallets, straps, rope.
• Recoup/repair damaged freight when necessary.
• Verify and complete required documentation and reports.
• Assist customers with freight and freight documentation as needed.
• Perform hostling duties if required.
• Comply with all laws, regulations, and company policies.
