Job summary

The Chefs' Warehouse, a leading broadline food service distributor in Chicago, IL, is seeking a forklift operator. You will put away, drop down, and rotate full pallets using stand-up or sit-down forklifts up to 46 feet high, and maintain orderly racks.

Responsibilities include picking from upper racks, unloading trailers, moving product to storage, ensuring safety protocols, and recording daily actions with an RF Scan Gun.

Qualifications

• GED or high school diploma is required.
• 2+ years forklift experience is required.
• Ability to pass a forklift operating exam.

Responsibilities

• Maneuver Stand-Up, High Reach, or Sit-Down Forklift to put away or move pallets up to 46 feet high.
• Pick/sort and replenish product from upper racks to front pick bins.
• Unload products from trailers and move to storage locations.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety of docks and pick bin areas.
• Record daily actions using RF Scan Gun.
