Job summary

Pure’s Food Specialties, LLC in Illinois is seeking a forklift operator to move stock in our warehouse. You will operate forklifts, load and unload equipment, and relocate materials throughout the facility.

Key duties include organizing pallets, weighing loads, performing quality checks, maintaining a clean work area, and adhering to OSHA standards. The role requires 1–3 years forklift experience and basic math skills, with English label reading as part of daily tasks.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of certified forklift experience.
• Preferred sit-down forklift and pallet jack experience.
• Basic math skills are required.
• Ability to communicate and read labels in English.

Responsibilities

• Monitors and maintains inventory.
• Organize and secure materials, such as boxes, pallets, and super stacks.
• Pick orders from inventory using a pick sheet.
• Shrink wrap pallets to prepare them for shipping.
• Weigh products and/or loads and record weight.
• Move hazardous materials.
• Report any faulty equipment or safety hazards.
• Maintain a clean work area.
• Analyze production schedules to determine movements and requirements.
• Maintain equipment by cleaning, oiling, recharging, refueling, etc.
• Coordinate with manager and other departments on loading/unloading operations.
• Attend meetings with manager and coworkers.
• Check in and approve new shipments.
• Perform quality checks.
