Job summary

The Chefs' Warehouse is seeking a forklift operator to put away, drop down, and rotate full pallets in a high-volume warehouse. You will maneuver Stand-Up, High Reach, or Sit-Down forklifts up to 46 feet tall, and ensure safe handling and accurate storage.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 2+ years forklift experience required.
• Team player who works productively with all levels of the organization.
• Ability to pass a forklift operating exam.
• Warehouse/distribution facility experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maneuver Stand-Up, High Reach, or Sit-Down Forklift to put away or let down pallets into warehouse racks up to 46 feet high.
• Picks/sorts and replenishes product from upper racks to front pick bins.
• Unloads product from trailers using forklift trucks and powered riding pallet jacks.
• Manually moves product from receiving dock to proper storage location.
• Monitors and enforces safe product handling procedures.
• Replenishes product from upper storage rack to lower pick bins within cooler.
• Monitors product quality as product is being moved.
• Breaks down pallets on receiving dock.
• Maintains cleanliness of receiving docks and pick bin area.
• Cleans and charges forklift at end of shift.
• Record daily actions by use of RF Scan Gun
