Job summary

Turner Industries is seeking a Forklift Operator in Omaha, Nebraska. You will stack and retrieve supplies, document inventory, and maintain an organized, clean production area under supervision. The role is non-exempt and reports to the Foreman.

Requirements include a valid driver's license, basic knowledge of hand signals, NCCER/NCCCO certifications, and post-offer drug/alcohol and physical screening. Overtime may be required during busy seasons.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 1 year experience; 1–3 years preferred.
• NCCER or NCCCO certifications required.
• Post-offer drug/alcohol screen and physical evaluation will be performed.
• Must have a valid driver’s license; move, load, and unload safely.

Responsibilities

• Move hand and foot levers to operate diesel, electric, or gasoline equipment.
• Interpret hand signals to determine material placement.
• Read and interpret load charts.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area; assist with maintenance (greasing/oiling).
• Follow supervisor directions and applicable safety procedures.
