Job summary

Remedy Intelligent Staffing is seeking a skilled Standup Forklift Operator/Warehouse Associate for our SW Omaha, NE location. This role involves operating standup forklifts to move, load, and unload materials, with daily responsibilities spanning inventory management, order picking, packing, and shipping/receiving support.

The ideal candidate will have forklift certification or equivalent experience, be able to lift heavy objects, and work safely in a fast-paced warehouse.

Qualifications

• Valid standup forklift operator certification or equivalent experience.
• Proven experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or distribution center.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical labor for extended periods.
• Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in order picking and inventory management.
• Basic computer skills for inventory tracking and documentation purposes.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Operate standup forklift safely and efficiently to move materials within the warehouse.
• Load and unload trucks and containers with accuracy and care.
• Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment according to company standards.
• Conduct routine inspections of forklift equipment and report any maintenance needs.
• Maintain an organized and clean warehouse workspace to promote safety and efficiency.
• Assist in inventory control processes, including cycle counts and stock replenishment.
• Follow all company policies and safety protocols to ensure a hazard-free work environment.
