Job summary

Liberty Packaging - Omaha is seeking a diligent Forklift Operator to move goods safely in a busy industrial setting at our Omaha facility. You will operate forklifts, scan inventory, and prepare shipments under the supervision of a Warehouse Supervisor.

This full-time role requires a high school diploma or GED and 1+ year of forklift experience, with availability for overtime, weekend, and holiday shifts. Benefits are included as part of our comprehensive package.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED plus 1+ year experience operating mobile equipment.
• Proficiency with typing, data entry, and basic computer skills.
• Ability to perform basic math including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.
• Comfort with reading and following detailed work instructions.
• Must be available for overtime, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate forklifts and similar material handling equipment in a high traffic industrial environment.
• Use electronic scanning on the forklift to track inventory levels and locations.
• Complete pre-operation inspections and report equipment faults as needed.
• Prepare shipments, consolidate pallets, and operate the shrink wrap machine.
• Move products and materials throughout the facility, load/unload trailers.
• Follow safety regulations and company guidelines.
• Other duties as assigned.
