Job summary

Novolex is hiring a Forklift/Clamp Driver for Brookshire, TX. 3rd shift (11:00pm–7:00am) with starting pay of $19/hour and an additional $1/hour shift differential. Position involves loading/unloading, operating forklift and clamp truck, scanning, and packing finished bags for shipping.

Responsibilities include following safety and GMP procedures, documenting production, and performing routine maintenance on equipment. Must pass pre-employment checks; HS diploma and US work eligibility required.

Qualifications

• Safety procedures knowledge
• GMP compliance for food safety
• Experience operating forklift and clamp truck

Responsibilities

• Follow safety procedures and GMP policies
• Load and unload paper rolls and labels as specified
• Safely operate forklift and clamp truck (training provided)
• Scan production and paper to/from machines
• Monitor shrink wrap equipment and make adjustments
• Complete daily production reports accurately
• Ensure pallets are stacked evenly and product is prepared for shipping
• Perform minor adjustments on shrink wrapper and label machine
• Assist with special packing tasks as needed
