Job summary

The role requires supervising the flight control team, developing contingency plans, ensuring FAR compliance, updating the LIDO database, and interfacing with customers to coordinate international and contract flights.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• FAA Aircraft Dispatcher license required.
• At least 1 year as dispatcher with FAR 121 carrier, including ABX.
• One year of computer flight planning experience.
• Proficient with PC applications.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Flexible and adaptable decision maker.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lb.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage contingency plans for operations.
• Ensure compliance with FARs.
• Collect and analyze data for investigations into aircraft incidents.
• Maintain records of flight operations.
• Plan and monitor ABX/contract flights; resolve issues.
• Assist as Flight Operation Officer as needed.
• Evaluate weather and fuel requirements.
• Assess aircraft performance and monitor flights.
• Secure slots and permits for international flights.
• Update the LIDO database as needed.
• Coordinate with customers on flight control operations.
• Perform additional duties as required.
