Job summary

ABX Air is seeking a Flight Support Specialist for the Wilmington, Ohio area. The role supports aircraft dispatchers, handles direct phone communications with flight crews, and manages data entry and report generation in compliance with FAA requirements.

The position operates on a 9:00 pm to 7:00 am schedule, Wednesday through Saturday, and requires flexibility to cover weekends and shift changes.

Qualifications

• Must have High School Diploma/GED.
• 2 years general office experience.
• Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Very good communication skills (both oral and written).
• Ability to work in a fast-paced multi-functional atmosphere.
• Effective geographical knowledge.
• Good interpersonal skills.
• Flexibility to work all shifts including weekends, holidays and shift changes if required.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to aircraft dispatchers and direct phone communication with flight crew members.
• Enter data and generate reports; accurate FAA-compliant recordkeeping.
• Monitor flight progress of charter operations and CVG/ILN operations.
• Disseminate information to Crew Scheduling, System Travel, System Control and Charter department as needed.
