Job summary

ABX Air, Inc. seeks an Instructor/Supervisor Flight Control to train, qualify, and evaluate Flight Operations Officers while ensuring FAA compliance and company standards. You will develop and deliver training programs, maintain qualification records, and support safety initiatives.

You will supervise Flight Control operations, manage operational systems, and coordinate with regulatory agencies to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant airline operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• FAA Aircraft Dispatcher license.
• Minimum 1 year as aircraft dispatcher with FAR 121 carrier, including 1 year with ABX.
• 1 year of computer-based flight planning experience.
• Proficient with standard office PC software.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to lift objects up to 40 lb.

Responsibilities

• Train, qualify, and evaluate Flight Operations Officers.
• Develop and maintain training curricula and qualification programs.
• Deliver instruction on aircraft systems, flight planning, meteorology, navigation, and FARs.
• Maintain training records and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Supervise Flight Control operations and lead the team.
• Participate in internal and external audits and safety programs.
• Coordinate with internal/ external stakeholders and regulators.
