Job summary

The Columbus Museum of Art seeks a Facilities Support Staff for the 3rd shift. Under the Facilities Support Supervisor, you will keep museum facilities clean, safe, and orderly, performing duties such as floor cleaning, restroom sanitation, glass care, and waste removal.

You will report to the Facilities Support Supervisor, assist with snow removal, notify management of repairs, and help with supply requisitions.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• One or more years in cleaning services or related type work preferred.
• Must be able to work as a member of a team.
• Work around the public.

Responsibilities

• Cleans floors in both public and non-public areas by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming them.
• Removes wastepaper baskets and containers and empties same into trash containers and cleans area after trash has been picked up.
• Services, cleans, sanitizes, and supplies restrooms (refill toilet paper, paper towel, and soap dispensers).
• Cleans and polishes furniture and fixtures.
• Cleans windows, glass partitions, mirrors and blinds using approved cleaners and tools.
• Dusts furniture, walls, machines, and equipment.
