Job summary

Columbus Museum Of Art is seeking a Facilities Support Staff member for the 3rd shift to keep museum facilities clean, safe, and orderly. The role includes floor, window, and restroom cleaning, waste removal, and reporting maintenance needs.

The position is part-time, non-exempt, union-represented, with a pay rate of $17.22 per hour and a schedule Thursday–Saturday nights plus Sunday evenings. Uniform may be provided and candidates should be prepared to work in varied weather and indoor/outdoor

Qualifications

Must report to the job site when scheduled prepared to start the Day.
One or more years in cleaning services or related work preferred.
Knowledge of cleaning solutions and janitorial equipment helpful.
Ability to work as a member of a team.

Responsibilities

Cleans floors in public and non-public areas by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming.
Removes wastepaper baskets and empties into trash containers; cleans area after.
Maintains restrooms by cleaning and restocking supplies.
Cleans and polishes furniture, fixtures, windows, and glass surfaces.
Reports repairs and safety concerns to supervisor.
Assists with snow removal and debris cleanup as needed.
Requisitions supplies and maintains organized storage areas.
