BluePearl Pet Hospital is hiring experienced Veterinary Technicians for our busy Emergency and Critical Care department. The role offers hourly pay with shift differentials and a pathway for career advancement within the Mars Veterinary Health network.

The incumbent will induce, monitor, and recover anesthesia, triage emergencies, perform radiography, monitor vitals, and support mentoring of teammates while delivering high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Experienced veterinary technicians with anesthesia experience.
• Ability to triage emergency cases and monitor vitals.
• Competent in radiography, venipuncture and aseptic technique.

Responsibilities

• Induce, monitor and recover anesthesia using monitoring equipment.
• Triage emergency cases and monitor vitals such as temperature and blood pressure.
• Perform digital radiography with proper positioning and technique.
• Monitor and interpret vital signs, alerting the Veterinarian to changes.
• Phlebotomy, IV catheter placement, medication administration and CPR as needed.
• Mentor and train other staff while delivering compassionate client communication.
