Job summary

Exceptional Community Hospitals is seeking an Emergency Room Technician for the night shift to support physicians and nurses in the Emergency Center. The ER Tech will assist with patient care, lab testing, and equipment management to maintain efficient, patient-focused service.

The role requires 1–3 years in an ER setting or EMT-P experience, a high school diploma, and EMT certification preferred. We offer a collaborative environment with opportunities for growth and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1-3 years ER experience or EMT-P (or equivalent) required.
• Current Emergency Medical Technician (or equivalent) certification preferred

Responsibilities

• Document vital signs, perform phlebotomy and IV starts, conduct EKGs, transport patients, monitor using cardiac/vital signs equipment.
• Performs urine drug screens and/or breathalyzer tests when trained.
• Assist physicians with exams, diagnostics and therapeutic procedures.
• Maintain clean patient care areas and restock lab and medical supplies.
• Record procedures accurately in the patient medical record and ensure proper equipment is available.
