Job summary

Emerus Holdings, Inc. is seeking qualified nursing support to provide technical assistance and patient care during night shifts in a small-format hospital setting.

The role includes collecting clinical data, assisting with patient activities, and maintaining patient safety and privacy in a fast-paced environment. Candidates should have a High School Diploma or GED and relevant EMS or nursing training with current BLS/ACLS/PALS where applicable.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required with one year of applicable EMS experience or nursing-related education.
• Current BLS certification through AHA or Red Cross is required.
• ACLS/ALS certification is required in most markets; exceptions vary by market.
• PALS certification is strongly preferred in many markets.
• Position requires fluency in English; written and oral communication.

Responsibilities

• Collect, report, and document clinical data including vital signs and intake/output.
• Collect lab samples and perform lab testing per policies and procedures and CLIA regulations.
• Assist with patient activities and care as per the plan of care.
• Provide superficial wound care.
• Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality of information.
• Ensure a clean, safe environment and proper aseptic technique and infection control.
• Assist with admission, transfer, and discharge of patients.
• Prepare patients and chaperone during examinations or procedures.
• Maintain patient care areas with supplies and equipment.
• Assist with patient restraints and monitor emergencies and behavior.
• Travel to all facility locations as required.
• Attend staff or mandated meetings and perform additional duties as assigned.
