TriStar Ashland City Medical Center is seeking a Clinical Nurse Coordinator for the ER on the night shift. The CNC will oversee patient-centered care, coordinate unit functions, and serve as a resource for staff while aligning with hospital policies and overall clinical outcomes.

The role involves collaboration with the management team, implementation of nursing strategies to improve engagement, and leadership in interviewing, training, and performance management to ensure a high-quality patient

Qualifications

• 2+ years of ER RN experience required.
• ACLS must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• BLS must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• PALS must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• Nonviolent Crisis Intervention must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date.

Responsibilities

• Assist with admission and discharge processes for efficient throughput and high-quality care.
• Monitor and evaluate nursing care per policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with management to foster teamwork and better outcomes.
• Support patient-first philosophy and service recovery when needed.
• Lead nursing strategies like hourly rounds and staff engagement initiatives.
• Oversee staff interviewing, training, evaluations, and disciplinary actions as appropriate.
• Assist with staff scheduling and labor management to meet patient care needs.
• Support inventory control and supplies/equipment management.
