TriStar Centennial Medical Center is seeking a Clinical Nurse Coordinator to oversee patient-centered care and unit operations during the shift. You will collaborate with the management team to direct nursing care, mentor staff, and ensure alignment with policies and clinical outcomes.

The role emphasizes staff development, quality improvement, and a patient-first approach. Strong ER experience, leadership, and certification readiness are essential to succeed in this role at our 740+ bed

Qualifications

• 3+ years ER RN experience required.
• Charge nurse experience required.
• ACLS, BLS, NCI, PALS within specified start dates.

Responsibilities

• Assist with admission and discharge processes to ensure efficient throughput and high-quality, patient-centered care.
• Participate in ongoing assessment of quality of patient care services in collaboration with management.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts and managers to create a teamwork-focused environment for improved outcomes.
• Support a patient-first philosophy and engage in service recovery when necessary.
• Operationalize nursing strategies to improve engagement, including hourly rounds and related initiatives.
• Provide recommendations on interviewing, selecting, and training staff; support performance evaluations and disciplinary actions as needed.
• Assist with staff scheduling and manage labor according to patient care needs and productivity guidelines.
• Support inventory control and assist with managing supplies and equipment.
