Job summary

Banner Health is seeking an Environmental Services Supervisor in Phoenix for the overnight shift (11:00 PM–7:30 AM). Lead a team of 35–45 staff to maintain a clean, safe hospital environment, ensuring infection control and safety standards. Prior EVS experience in a hospital setting is highly preferred.

Qualifications

• Three or more years of diversified healthcare or similar institutional Environmental Services experience, including leadership, staff training, customer service, and infection control knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Environmental Services personnel and daily work across hospital campuses to optimize service levels while controlling expenses.
• Mentor and evaluate staff; manage training, record-keeping, and in-service education.
• Perform daily patient rounds and area inspections to ensure cleanliness and infection control standards.
• Schedule projects, monitor equipment moves, and coordinate housekeeping for major tasks and emergencies.
• Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and department leaders to resolve ES requests and improve service.
