Job summary

HonorHealth in Phoenix, AZ is seeking an ENTREE COOK for the Night shift to prepare cafeteria and catering meals, including therapeutic diets. You will operate kitchen equipment, prepare entrees, soups, and accompaniments, and ensure safety and quality standards.

The role requires ability to adjust production for patient tally and census, maintain records, and collaborate with Food Service staff to deliver meals on schedule.

Qualifications

• Less than High School required.
• Technical Training Diploma/Degree in Vocational or specialized training preferred.
• Related experience in food service is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare entrees, vegetables, starches, sauces and soups.
• Operate kitchen equipment and maintain cleanliness and safety.
• Conduct temperature checks and maintain logs for food safety.
• Plan production schedules and adjust for census and supervisor instructions.
• May assist and direct other Food Service Workers.
