Job summary

HonorHealth is seeking an Entrée Cook for our on-site cafeteria in Scottsdale, AZ. You will prepare entrees, soups and vegetables, ensure dietary accuracy, and operate a range of kitchen equipment to service patient trays and staff meals.

The role requires preparing meals per standard menus, maintaining food safety, and assisting other food service staff as needed. Prior food-handling experience and a Food Handler Card are needed; a valid driver license is preferred.

Qualifications

• Less than High School required; Technical Training Diploma/Degree preferred.
• Related experience in food service or cafeteria operations.
• Food Handler Card required; Driver license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare entrees, vegetables, starches, sauces and soups.
• Cooks items using kitchen equipment and prepares meals per schedule.
• Ensure foods meet quality, freshness, taste and appearance standards.
• Maintain sanitation, cleanliness and safe operation of equipment.
• Review production plans and adjust for census and supervisor instructions.
