Qualifikationen

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• 1-3 years of experience in a medical office with frequent customer interaction.
• Basic computer skills required.
• Must be able to read, write, and communicate in English; Spanish is a plus.
• Previous patient registration or patient accounting experience preferred.
• Must complete Non-Violent Crisis Intervention training bi-annually.

• Greet and register patients upon arrival in the ED.
• Identify visit type, collect and verify demographic and insurance data.
• Advise patients on next steps in the care process and document accurately.
• Answer and direct calls, page on-call providers, and respond to emergency alerts.
