Job summary

Wellstar Kennestone Hospital in Marietta, GA seeks a Paramedic for the Emergency Department (FT Nights) 7pm–7am. You will join a multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality, safe patient care under RN/physician direction.

The role covers prehospital and in-hospital care, IV initiation, medications under supervision, and ED triage support, contributing to patient outcomes and the patient experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must possess strong English reading/writing skills.
• Experience in fast-paced clinical settings is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist medical and nursing staff with ED patient care and treatment.
• Greet patients, interview, and input data into the computer system.
• Perform diagnostic tasks such as EKGs and cardiac monitoring.
• Administer medications under RN/physician direction.
• Support patient flow and education for patients and families.
