Wellstar Health System in Cobb County, GA seeks an Emergency Department Paramedic for a part-time day shift (7 am–7 pm). The role supports ED treatment, triage, and patient flow under RN/physician direction.

You will perform IVs, IV meds, glucose monitoring, ISTAT, and monitor patients using EKG and cardiac equipment. Requires Georgia paramedic license and National Registry, with BLS/PALS/ACLS; 2+ years preferred.

Competenze

• Paramedic license and state certifications required.
• Minimum two years paramedic experience preferred.
• BLS, PALS, ACLS certifications required.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities required.
• English language proficiency and basic computer skills needed.

Mansioni

• Assist medical and nursing staff in patient care in the ED.
• Greet and interview patients and input medical information.
• Perform diagnostic tasks such as EKG, monitor cardiac activity, venipuncture, and point-of-care testing.
• Follow RN/physician direction in care plans and patient flow.
• Support trauma and code events and education of patients and families.
