The position requires RN licensure with substantial emergency nursing experience and preferred managerial experience. ACLS/TNCC/CEN certifications are valued to support quality and safety initiatives.

Qualifications

• RN license required in state of practice.
• Minimum five years emergency nursing experience.
• Prior nursing management experience preferred.
• ACLS/TNCC/CEN certifications preferred.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Communicate performance expectations to associates.
• Monitor performance and adherence to expectations.
• Oversee staffing, scheduling and attendance for the unit.
• Provide timely performance feedback to associates.
• Participate in interviewing and selection of unit staff.
• Support budget planning and cost control for the unit.
• Ensure nursing care aligns with licensure, accreditation and hospital policies.
