Job summary

Hancock Regional Hospital is seeking an experienced Nursing Manager for the Emergency Department to lead clinical teams and ensure delivery of high-quality patient care. The role emphasizes leadership, staffing, performance improvement, and collaboration with the health care team to optimize patient outcomes in a fast-paced ED setting.

Indiana-based position with strong emphasis on compliance and patient safety. Experience with budgeting and operations is preferred.

Qualifications

• Five years of emergency nursing experience.
• Prior nursing management experience preferred.
• ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and CEN certifications preferred.
• RN license required.

Responsibilities

• Assures that performance expectations are communicated to associates.
• Monitors staffing, scheduling and attendance/tardy occurrences; bases care on the nursing process.
• Participates in budgeting, performance improvement and project management.
• Leads unit compliance with licensure, accreditation and hospital policies.
• Ensures timely and accurate communication within the health care team.
• Supports quality data submission and patient safety initiatives.
