Job summary

Wind River Environmental is seeking a dependable Drain & Sewer Service Technician in Monroe, CT. You will diagnose problems, operate professional drain cleaning and inspection equipment, and service residential and commercial customers.

You’ll follow a planned daily route, perform hydro jetting, camera inspections, and cable work while documenting findings and recommendations. The role offers overtime opportunities and a path to earning through bonus programs.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• At least 21 years of age.
• Two years of professional driving experience.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the position.
• Basic computer, communication, and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Follow a planned daily service route while independently managing each service call from arrival through completion.
• Perform professional drain cleaning, cable work, hydro jetting, and sewer camera inspections for residential and commercial customers.
• Diagnose drain and sewer issues using specialized equipment and recommend appropriate solutions.
• Explain findings and recommendations so customers understand the problem and proposed solution.
• Identify repair, replacement, and preventive maintenance opportunities through our Technician Recommendation Program.
• Complete service documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
• Respond to emergency service calls when needed.
• Maintain company vehicles, equipment, and tools in safe working condition.
• Work closely with dispatch to provide an exceptional customer experience.
• Follow all company safety procedures and applicable regulations.
