Job summary

Saving Sight in Kansas City, MO is seeking a Donor Services Coordinator to support grieving families and guide them through the donation process during night shifts, with a flexible hybrid schedule. You will review donor medical records, complete questionnaires, coordinate with funeral homes, hospitals, and medical exam offices, and work independently and as a team to ensure timely, respectful recovery.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal communication and active listening skills.
• Strong technical skills, including Microsoft software, database management, and/or phone systems.
• Ability to multitask, adapt, and manage shifting priorities.
• Customer service, social work, insurance claims or healthcare industry experience is a plus!

Responsibilities

• Speak with donor families experiencing grief and guiding them through the donation process.
• Review donor's medical records, complete questionnaires, and communicate with medical staff to determine donor eligibility.
• Coordinate with funeral homes, medical examiner offices, and hospitals to dispatch Recovery Technicians to donor locations.
• Work independently and as a team to make critical decisions and solve problems relating to donation criteria.
