Job summary

Starbucks Distribution Center is seeking a Distribution Specialist to manage shipping, receiving, and inventory control. The role requires operating a stand‑up forklift, maintaining accuracy in documentation, and upholding safety and quality standards in a fast-paced environment.

Candidates should have 1 year of distribution/warehouse experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work a 5pm-3:30am shift. Benefits include comprehensive medical plans and 401(k) matching.

Qualifications

• 1 year distribution/warehouse experience.
• Experience operating a stand-up powered industrial truck.
• High school diploma/GED or US military service.
• Ability to communicate clearly, both verbally and in writing.
• Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Basic math skills and ability to follow written policies and safety guidelines.
• Familiarity with WMS (Manhattan) and WES (TREW).

Responsibilities

• Perform shipping, receiving and inventory control duties, including loading/unloading trailers, replenishing stock, filling orders, documenting product movement.
• Ensure quality by reviewing work to detect and correct errors.
• Operate powered industrial trucks safely and efficiently.
• Follow safety guidelines and participate in safety training.
• Support food safety, legality and quality programs.
• Maintain product quality through GMPs and quality procedures.
