Job summary

Starbucks distribution center is seeking teammates to handle shipping, receiving, and inventory management for a range of products. You will load/unload trailers, fulfill orders, and document movements with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.

The role emphasizes safety, adherence to PPE and lockout/tagout procedures, and readiness to support quality programs and continuous improvement in product handling.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Experience in shipping, receiving and inventory management is preferred.
• Ability to follow safety policies and PPE requirements.

Responsibilities

• Perform shipping, receiving, and inventory management tasks, including loading and unloading trailers, filling merchandise, fulfilling orders, servicing merchandise, and documenting the movement of merchandise.
• Maintain quality by regularly reviewing work to identify and correct errors.
• Drive various company vehicles to perform distribution functions.
• Demonstrate and understand safety as a core value, adhere to safety requirements as outlined in our safety policy, and empower others to do the same.
• Follow established safety standards, including all safety procedures such as PPE and lockout/tagout.
• Support food safety, legal, and quality programs.
• Maintain product quality by adhering to good manufacturing practices, preventive food safety controls, product specifications, and quality procedures.
• Monitor and record quality metrics using analytical tools.
• Perform other duties as required to support business objectives and Starbucks information and standards.
• Maintain regular and timely attendance.
