The role focuses on real-time dispatch, driver onboarding, performance coaching, and strong communication with operations and drivers. It requires leadership and a commitment to safety and quality in a fast-paced logistics environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred or substituted with 4 years of similar experience.
• Excellent customer service, problem solving, and decision making skills.
• Ability to develop a working knowledge of all terminal operation aspects.

Responsibilities

• Dispatch a fleet with accurate real-time data management.
• Maintain driver relationships and satisfaction.
• Onboard new drivers using the 12-week onboarding process.
• Review driver scorecards to ensure performance and income goals.
• Audit driver manifests for pay accuracy.
• Communicate policy and schedule changes to the fleet.
• Coach for productivity, safety, and company rules.
• Lead driver training and performance improvement plans.
• Monitor shifts to ensure on-time dispatch and delivery.
