Job summary

Cowan Systems, LLC is seeking a Driver Manager to lead a professional driver team and ensure timely, safe freight delivery. You will oversee daily fleet operations, onboarding, performance reviews, and compliance with DOT regulations.

The role requires at least 2 years of dispatching CDL A drivers, a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, and strong customer service and problem-solving abilities. Competitive salary and full benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred or substituted with 4 years of similar experience.
• Strong dispatching experience with CDL A trucking.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Direct and indirect reports consisting of Professional Drivers.
• Maintain driver relationships and onboarding processes.
• Ensure DOT hours-of-service compliance and safety standards.
• Communicate policy and schedule changes to the fleet.
• Coach drivers on performance and development with HR support.
• Oversee fleet training and driver safety inspections.
