Job summary

AMPI is seeking a Production Manager to lead and develop our dairy processing operations at our Wisconsin facility. You will oversee daily production, safety, and quality programs while coordinating with maintenance and plant personnel to meet performance targets.

As a supervisor, you will mentor teams, implement training, and drive continuous improvement in safety culture and GMP compliance across shifts. This role requires strong leadership and a focus on customer and quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor’s degree in food science or related field or equivalent experience.
• Five years experience in dairy or food production.
• Three years of supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage, mentor and support production operations and employees.
• Work with maintenance to identify equipment issues and improve machine efficiency.
• Establish training procedures to improve job knowledge and cross training.
• Provide daily updates to department managers and enforce policies.
