Job summary

Associated Milk Producers Inc. (AMPI) is seeking a dependable team member for plant operations focused on food safety, quality, and efficient line performance.

Duties include assembling carts, placing liners into boxes, sanitation of carts and pans, weight and tag checks, and maintaining accurate production records. The role supports training of new staff, assists maintenance with basic repairs, reports production issues, and contributes to continuous process improvements.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required or preferred
• Must hold a valid forklift operator license

Responsibilities

• Assemble carts and place cheesecloth and liners into boxes
• Rinse carts and pans to remove soil/debris before washing
• Clean, sanitize and re-clean carts and pans as needed
• Load and unload carts in vacuum chamber and vacuum as required
• Inspect, weigh, and tag carts
• Maintain housekeeping and clean work areas
• Maintain documentation and records of production
• Assist with training new employees
• Support maintenance staff with machine repairs or troubleshooting
• Communicate production deficiencies to management
• Report critical information during shift changes
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and communicate them
• Adhere to Quality, Food Safety, GMP and Safety policies
• Refer to work instructions
• Other duties as assigned
