Job summary

Saputo Cheese USA Inc. in Franklin, VA, is seeking a Production Attendant for a night shift (10:00PM to 11:00PM Start) with a 6:00AM to 7:00AM End window.

You will package cheese to customer specs, record data, and support GMP/SOP/HACCP compliance while maintaining safety on the line. Responsibilities include setting up packaging, performing quality checks, rotating through line positions, and keeping the work area tidy.

Qualifications

• Can consistently push, pull, and lift between 20 and 40 pounds.
• Able to bend, twist, stoop, push, and maneuver around equipment.
• Stand or walk on concrete for long periods.
• Willing to work overtime and scheduled hours.
• Reliable, honest, respectful, detail-oriented, and punctual.
• Basic math skills for unit conversions.
• Clear communication; team player.
• Knowledge of safety procedures.
• Independent and team-oriented mindset.

Responsibilities

• Maintain GMP, SOP, HACCP, SSOP, and H&S compliance.
• Package cheese as per specifications and document results.
• Set up packaging line including machinery and printers.
• Perform quality checks against production sheets.
• Read and interpret production worksheets.
• Keep work area clean and organized at all times.
• Rotate through all line positions.
• Box and palletize with correct counts and IDs.
• Sanitize lines when needed.
• Enter data on production reports.
• Uphold Saputo safety policies and quality standards.
• Contribute to Safe Quality Food program requirements.
• Other duties as assigned.
