Job summary

SBM Management Services, LP in Chelsea, MA is seeking a Custodian for a night shift (10:00 PM–6:30 AM), Saturday through Wednesday, with a pay rate of $19.75 per hour. The Custodian will ensure cleanliness and sanitation of all assigned areas and will operate cleaning equipment as needed.

You will follow safety rules, perform daily duties, report hazards, and work with a team to maintain a professional, safe environment for clients and staff.

Qualifications

• No specific education requirement; 3-6 months training or experience preferred.
• May be required to have a valid driver’s license; safety training certification; forklift certification may be required.
• Bilingual a plus; read and interpret instructions and manuals.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills; knowledge of cleaning methods and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform janitorial duties
• Perform all duties listed on the daily schedule
• Operate motorized cleaning equipment
• Maintain daily upkeep of assigned area
• Report incidents and hazardous conditions to supervisor
• Follow all protocols, policies, and rules
• Take direction and respond to supervision
• Present a professional appearance and conduct
